How can my company buy ESET in Suriname?
You can purchase ESET business licenses through ComputSecur or one of our authorized local partners (such as Computronics, 101 Consultancy, SIOC, Business & Data Solutions N.V.).
Can we keep our current IT supplier and still use ESET?
Yes. Many companies in Suriname buy ESET through the same IT partner that manages their network. Our resellers handle deployment and day-to-day support, with ComputSecur and ESET behind them for advanced technical issues if needed.
How are ESET business licenses counted?
Most ESET business products are licensed per device / per operating system (PCs, laptops, servers). Some products, like mail security, are licensed per mailbox instead of per machine.
Can ESET protect our servers and Microsoft 365, not just PCs?
Yes. Besides endpoints, ESET includes security for Windows servers and for cloud services such as Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) through ESET Cloud App Protection which is only available in the ESET Protect Complete product.
What license terms are available (1 year, 3 years, etc.)?
ESET only offers 1-,2- and 3-years terms. Multi-year licenses are recommended because they usually give a better effective yearly price and reduce the number of renewals you need to manage.
Do you offer local support in Suriname?
Yes. First-line business support is provided locally by ComputSecur and our Surinamese partners (in Dutch and English). If needed, complex cases are escalated to ESET’s international support, but your normal contact remains your local partner.
What happens if our ESET license expires?
If your license expires, ESET will stop receiving new malware and ransomware definition updates after a short grace period. Protection quickly becomes outdated, so we recommend renewing before the expiry date via one of our resellers or our Renew page.
How do we manage ESET on all our company devices?
ESET business products are managed from a central console called ESET PROTECT. You can run it in the cloud or on-premises and use one dashboard to deploy protection, push policies, run scans and see alerts for all your PCs, laptops and servers.
